Enter the jungle, play with game-inspired jewellery and drift away with water meditation in amazing 3D studio transformations created by artists from Wimbledon Art Studios
Meet London’s top artists and makers, as many invite you to enter another world of creativity as they turn their studios into interactive works of art
What? A unique chance to discover and buy art directly from 150 of London's top artists and makers, as they open their private studios to the public for four days. From painting to ceramics, photography to fashion, meet the creative masterminds behind the works in their natural habitats. This November, for the first time, this annual art fair has invited its resident artists to transform their studios into immersive spaces to bring their art alive in new ways. Highlights include:
Fred Coppin and Daphne Stephenson’s wild, tropical wilderness; a jungle-inspired studio that brings botanical studies and Rousseau-inspired paintings to life in a wild new way
Christine O’Brien’s games room studio, where visitors can explore and play with her game-inspired jewellery and embrace their inner child
Based on her amazing work for St George’s Hospital, Angelika Spranger will transform her studio walls into a running water cascade while revealing the power of art to soothe and heal
A special surprise from record-breaking, five star-rated sugar artist and cake-maker to the Queen, Jacqui Kelly
When? 14 – 17 November 2019
Where? Wimbledon Art Studios, 10 Riverside Yard, London SW17 0BB. One of the largest single-site art studio complexes in London and one of the only venues of its kind in Europe, the fair takes place across two buildings, eight floors and 150 private studios.
