James Holland, Adrian Tchaikovsky and Simon Squibb among authors making their Audible Originals debuts
Title revealed for Lisa Jewell’s upcoming Christmas Audible Original
Plus, new audio-first projects from chart-topping romance and crime authors

Audible, a leading provider of spoken word entertainment, today unveils its latest acquisitions to its Audible Originals line-up, featuring new commissions from best-selling authors, James Holland, Adrian Tchaikovsky and Simon Squibb, making their Audible Originals debuts. Audible is also continuing to invest in recommissions from some of its most successful authors in customer favourite genres.
Adrian Tchaikovsky, one of the finest living sci-fi writers, will release Odysseus Rising, an interstellar retelling of Homer’s epic tale. Complete with 3D Dolby Atmos production, this will be a mind-bending journey through sound and space from the modern master of science fiction.
James Holland offers Nine Days at Dunkirk, an immersive re-telling of the nine days that shaped the fate of Europe. Enhanced with Dolby Atmos sound design and based on primary sources and first-hand accounts, James Holland’s cinematic re-imagining brings this pivotal moment in WW2 to life like never before.
Sunday Times best-selling author, Simon Squibb, will pen an Audible Original on how to quit your day job and build the business you've been dreaming about. The release will feature exclusive interviews with top entrepreneurs alongside Squibb's expert guidance.
Lisa Jewell's Audible Original debut was announced last year, with the title now revealed as All She Wants for Christmas. The multi-cast seasonal thriller about obsession manipulation and the dark side of success will feature A-list casting to be revealed later this year.

Elsewhere, Audible is thrilled to continue its longstanding commitment to leading crime authors with new Audible Originals from K L Slater (The Chef), Sarah Forbes Stewart(Girlband) and a new speculative thriller from Speakies winner, JD Kirk coming in 2028.
Also returning to Audible with new Originals are chart-topping romance authors Leeanne Slade, who will release her fifth Audible Original, Lovers & Liars, following her previous titles that hit number one on Audible globally, and multi-million-selling romance sensation, Portia MacIntosh, who returns with a swoony rom-com of errors titled Ex En Provence set on a fading vineyard in the south of France.
Alongside Audible Original commissions, Audible continues to invest in audio exclusive content with Audible Books including big name talent such as Heather Morris and Sarah Hiscox. The brand-new novel by Heather Morris, the bestselling author of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, The Piano Teacher of Montparnasse returns to a WWII setting with this new work, coming from Firefinch Publishing and Audible Books in UK & Comm in late 2026, with casting to be announced. The Beginning and the End of Everything by Sarah Hiscox is a heart-breaking and heart-mending memoir, which pulls readers into her incredible story of triumph over addiction, with an introduction by Davina McCall.
