Jessie Buckley to voice Leah Hazard's Audible fiction debut

Audible, a leading provider of spoken word entertainment, has acquired the rights to Leah Hazard’s debut romantic fiction novel The Anatomy of Us, which will be published exclusively in audio as an Audible Original on 8 May 2025.

One of the most high-profile working midwives in the UK, Leah Hazard is the Sunday Times bestselling author of Hard Pushed and Womb.

Inspired by her firsthand experience on the NHS front line, The Anatomy of Us unfolds amidst the chaos of New Year’s Eve in an Edinburgh hospital emergency room, where two perfectly imperfect people fall in love – but are too afraid to show each other who they really are.

Laurence Olivier Award winning and Oscar and BAFTA nominated, Irish actress and singer, Jessie Buckley - who is best known for her performances in musical film Wild Rose, Wicked Little Letters, The Lost Daughter and the hit HBO mini-series Chernobyl – has been cast as narrator.
